France – Monet’s Garden

What a lovely place! The famous bridge, the water garden, flowers… amazing. There are a few day trip bus trips from Paris so it can get busy, we got there early. The sun makes a big different to the water garden and it is worth walking round the pond first thing before it gets busy and then again when the sun is higher in the sky and the lilies come out.

Monet’s house at the top of the garden is open to look round and there is also a good shop. If you are either staying in Paris or the Seine Valley or Normandy well worth a visit, we would certainly go back.
