Croatia – Simply stunning
We arrived in Split for a 3-night stay – a lovely city. We took a day trip to the Krka National Park which was stunning. You can walk across the boardwalks over streams and watch the cascading waterfalls. A truly beautiful day out finished with a relaxing boat ride.

On the way to Dubrovnik we crossed the border into Bosnia to tie in a visit to Mostar. This is a wonderful old town with lots of history attached. We then continued to our base just a few kilometres outside the old city of Dubrovnik on the Babin Kuk Peninsula for a four-night stay. This was a lovely haven at the end of a day of sightseeing.

Alternatively, you can hop on a bus which will take you into the old town in ten minutes. We finished off the week with a lovely short boat ride to Cavtat and a day trip into beautiful Montenegro.
The only regret is not having visited this beautiful area before. If you book a holiday there, you won’t be disappointed.
